REPORTE FEBRERO 2,023

Romanos 11:36

EVERYTHING HAS A PURPOSE…

In this month once again we have been able to experience the powerful hand of God in each area of the ministry in South Sudan, it has been a month of many challenges and important changes; But we can say that in God everything has a purpose, after having a time of trials we have seen the guidance of the Holy Spirit and it has led us to make important decisions for the progress of Fundación Emmanuel ministry in South Sudan. We thank God that in the midst of everything he has shown his perfect purposes, with his help we have grown spiritually in this time of trial, we can say with certainty: Thus far the Lord has helped us. 1 Samuel 7:12

THE PLANTING CONTINUES …

On September the activities with the children “Emmanuel Kids” were resumed, they have been taught different biblical stories in order to lead them to know the wonderful love of Jesus.
We love to see each week, the smile of the children and their desire to know more about our friend Jesus.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:6

THE CHURCHES ARE STRENGTHENED; GLORY TO GOD!

We thank God that the 5 churches of Fundacion Emmanuel are open every Sunday. They get together to worship the LORD.

So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.

Acts 16:5

In the Struggles and Trials the Church Keeps Walking

… For we are the temple of the living God.

2 Corinthians 6:16 (NIV)

The Church is not the building where we meet to worship God. The Church is the people who have been united to the death and resurrection of Christ by faith (Rom. 6: 1-11).

Hela Yedit Emmanuel mission field in Juba, South Sudan.

After several months of having the churches closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the government of South Sudan has allowed the churches to reopen.

So services have started in Fundación Emmanuel churches in South Sudan, and especially we have enjoyed the service in a mission field that started before the pandemic.

And we realized that when God is sought from the heart, the place does not matter.
The greatest blessing (in quantity and quality) are always those little ones, that we pray to the Lord to be that generation of change that this country and God’s Mission need.

This Church also enjoyed the blessings of the Lord, launching its new rechargeable speaker which has been heartily donated by a brother member of Iglesia Emmanuel from Honduras.

We thank God for His presence and we know that with or without a pandemic He never changes.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Helping the Needy

“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.” – Proverbs 19:17

With the help of pastors and leaders passionate about people in need, the Ministry of Fundación Emmanuel makes periodic visits in the most needy communities of Juba, in order to provide food aid, clothing, but especially provide spiritual help.

God is a God of love and hope, that is what we transmit in each message very well received by those in need of love, peace and hope.

4 Ways We Can Choose Love

1. Encourage one another.

We live in such an incredible time! Even when we can’t be physically present with one another, we can still call, text, email, connect on social media, attend church online, and more.

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.

PROVERBS 3:27

2. Support each other.

Some of the most meaningful things we can do are simple and practical. Check in with your neighbors and ask how they’re doing. Share whatever you have. Drop off a meal for someone who can’t get out. Pay for the person behind you in a drive-through. Send an email gift card to a friend.

…our love should not be only words and talk. No, our love must be real. We must show our love by the things we do.

1 JOHN 3:18

3. Love each other.

Jesus said that loving your neighbor was the second most important commandment. And in the parable of the Good Samaritan, He explained what He meant by that word, “neighbor.” Paul even suggested we turn loving each other into a competition!

Try to outdo yourselves in respect and honor of one another.

ROMANS 12:10

4. Point each other to Jesus.

It’s Jesus who calms our storms. But it’s up to us to remind each other of God’s promises. And to pray for one another. You can do both these things — and more — in the same ways we mentioned in #1
